I remember many years ago teaching my kids about the rainforest and jungle in Costa Rica. During this trip, we got to LIVE our world geography lesson!!

What an absolutely beautiful experience as we walked on the Hanging Bridges and saw both the height of the canopies to the low lying streams, with a volcano in the background as our setting! Throw in a 4-hour safari float tour on the San Carlos River checking out the wildlife of howler monkeys, birds, lizards, a crocodile, and perhaps even a frog dart or two! And a brief stop by the sweetest family’s house who lives an authentic Costa Rican lifestyle and prepared some homemade cheese, a coconut dessert, and fried plantains, along with some homemade moonshine! It was amazing and the abuelas were amazing!!

THIS is what chasing joy is all about… exploring the world, expanding your life experiences, and creating memories with those you love!
